Our Team

Jason graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc degree in Media Technology. During his time at university, he learnt the importance of communication when attending technical authorship lessons where he was taught how to interpret complicated instructions into universally comprehendible, coherent and accessible language. Since graduating from university, Jason has obtained his TEFL certification and build a career in education powered by expertise and experience.

Jason has been teaching English as a Native English teacher in Hong Kong since 2011. During this time, he has taught a wide spectrum of students ranging from young to adult learners, imparting the skills and expertise he has from phonics and reading to writing and test preparation. He finds that teaching English is exceptionally both challenging and rewarding as every lesson is itself a tailored engagement in the learning journey of every unique student. Finding fresh ways to make lessons more immersive and engaging for students from very different backgrounds are the main drivers that motivates him as an educator, and also the reason why he enjoys teaching both theory and technique. He hopes to continue to inspire students as their growth and success is core this a teacher’s sense of achievement.

At ARCH, Jason is an English instructor, who will focus on delivery of enrichment course, consolidate the foundation of student’s English abilities as well as prepare them for key assessments and exams.

In his spare time, Jason has a keen interest in reading detective and magical realism novels, as well as being a huge admirer of western cinema and pop culture. He is also enthusiastic in photography and loves to travel, taking photos of metropolitan and exotic locations.
